What I've learnt from #kobebryant :

1. He read the referee's manual once to figure out their positions during a game to gain tactical advantage.

Lesson: Know more about your domain than anyone else.

2. Kobe received a book from Jimmy Kimmel once. After reading it, he wanted to discuss it in insane detail, so much so that Kimmel had to connect him with the original author.

Lesson: Be curious about the world & how it relates to you.

3. He took tap dancing classes to protect his ankles.

Lesson: Cross-pollinate ideas from other industries.

4. He would get to the court 4 hours before each game and make around 250 practice shots.

Lesson: Be willing to go the extra mile, every single day.

5. As he came closer to retirement, he consulted several people relentlessly to discuss his next act.

Lesson: Don't let your ego prevent you from seeking counsel.
