Be Creative in Times of Pandemic
Although the demand for online events spiked during COVID, a lot of companies are still trying to figure out how to best go about it.

Some tips:

1. Understand that most people are overwhelmed with so many webinars happening.

Ensure your marketing message emphasizes on how an online event offers much more value with networking opportunities & curated content.

Also, a personalized video message goes a long way.

2. Don't rush. Give yourself enough lead time to get impressive speakers/sponsors on board.

3. Choose specific topic titles instead of generic ones for sessions. Highlight the takeaways for audiences.

4. Enable attendees to pre-book chat sessions so that you get on their calendar. A 15-minute guaranteed chat with a rep can save time for attendees.

5. Don't slack on the UX, nav or visual design. Reduce the learning curve with videos.

6. Write exceptional copy. This is often overlooked. From the landing page to speaker bios to webinar descriptions, excite people to action via the right words.

7. Post-event: Always capture qualitative feedback via surveys & share links to recordings.

Move away from the mindset of setting up a series of Zoom meetings. Pretend you're planning a sporting spectacle. Get creative. Be epic. Go big.
